• If you send the contact form, what you enter is emailed to the firm. We do not send your name, contact details, or anything you type or select in the form to Google Analytics.
• “Schedule a Consultation” opens an automated AI voice assistant. Conversations may be recorded and transcribed.
• We do not sell your personal information.
• Contacting GB Law through this website does not create an attorney-client relationship. Please don’t send confidential details until we have spoken with you.

Who we are

This website (lawfirm.gs) is operated by GB Law, the Law Offices of Gianna Scatchell Basile, 1821 W Hubbard Street, #209, Chicago, Illinois 60622. “We” and “us” in this policy mean GB Law.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google. When you visit, Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and collects information such as the pages you view, how you arrived (for example, from a search engine or a link), your browser and device type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address.

We also record that certain actions happened, so we can tell which pages are useful: tapping a phone number link, pressing “Schedule a Consultation,” and successfully sending the contact form. For these actions we send only general labels, such as the type of page you were on. We do not send your name, email address, phone number, or anything you type or select in the form.

Google processes this information under its own terms and policies. You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The website works without analytics cookies.

Session storage

To learn which page brought you to the site, your browser keeps a small note for the current browsing session: the first page you visited on this site, the website that linked you here (the site name only, not the full address), and any campaign tags in the link. This note stays in your browser, is not sent to Google Analytics, and is cleared when you close the browser tab or window. If you send the contact form, it is included in the email to the firm.

The contact form

When you send the contact form, the information you enter (such as your name, phone number, email address, preferred language, and your answers or brief summary) and any files you attach are sent to the firm by email. We use an email delivery service, Resend, to send that email. The form’s contents are kept in the firm’s email and records systems.

We use what you send only to respond to you, to check for conflicts of interest, and to decide whether we can help or refer you to a firm that can. Please don’t include a detailed description of what happened, medical details, or the names of children. Sending the form does not make GB Law your lawyer.

The voice assistant

The “Schedule a Consultation” buttons open an automated AI voice assistant. It is not a person and not a lawyer, and nothing it says is legal advice. The assistant is provided by ElevenLabs, a third-party service. To operate it, your voice and the conversation are processed by ElevenLabs.

Conversations may be recorded and transcribed, and recordings and transcripts may be retained by ElevenLabs and made available to the firm for a period of time. Please don’t share sensitive details, such as medical information or the names of children, with the assistant. If you would rather not use it, call us at (312) 248-3303 or use the contact form.

How we use information

• To respond to your inquiry and follow up with you.
• To check for conflicts of interest before discussing a matter.
• To understand which pages help people find the firm, and to improve the website.
• To keep the website running and secure.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us run this website and respond to you, including Google (analytics), Resend (email delivery), ElevenLabs (voice assistant), and Cloudflare (website hosting, which processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site). We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us. No website, email, or internet transmission is completely secure, which is one reason we ask you not to send confidential details through the form or the voice assistant.

Children

This website is intended for adults. If you are a parent or guardian contacting us about a child, please don’t include the child’s name or details about what happened. We will discuss them with you confidentially.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
